Vahan Vardanyan is currently a venture partner at Buran Venture Capital, a Central and Eastern European fund, and is a co-founder of SpaceIn – a global co-working technology platform. Prior to that Vahan was a partner at McKinsey’s digital practice in Russia and CIS. From 2004 to 2013 Vahan served as managing director, chief information officer, member of the Executive board at Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS and managing director, global chief information officer at Renaissance Capital. Vahan is an entrepreneur and digital strategist with over 20 years of experience in managing large-scale information technology, organizational development, and business transformation programs in financial services, telecommunications, and the public sector in CIS, Europe, Middle East, and the US. Vahan holds an MBA degree from Bentley University, Massachusetts; he is a graduate (with honors) of Armenian State Engineering University’s School of computer science. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) of Harvard Business School.
