About Startup Studio

Startup Studio was designed to support science and technology backed startups as well as budding entrepreneurs with an aspiration to become a company founder. The Studio offered a full Coaching and Mentorship program and provides access to coworking space at FAST. Startup Studio membership was granted free of charge. Coaching and Mentorship program guided startups and budding entrepreneurs through the entrepreneurial journey with modules specifically designed to cover their needs. Each module had a practical part where the participants exercise the learned skills by applying them to their idea, product, or company-related analysis. The program consisted of business and technical sessions, teamwork, panel discussions, mentor engagements, motivational talks, and company visits designed to create and enhance the following capacities of startups and budding entrepreneurs:

  1. Intellectual: exploring individual and team competencies and plans that generate genuine value for people and the business
  2. Network: exploring access to relevant skilled people and to market
  3. Financial: exploring access to capital
  4. Core: exploring proper individual and team motivation

The coaches and mentors were distinguished professionals from Armenia and abroad.

Our program

Coaching

Our network of professional coaches conducted a multitude of coaching sessions from the many spheres of entrepreneurship. Coaching sessions provided startups with opportunities to overcome challenges as they took on the new challenges of business growth. 12 modules aimed to expand participants’ knowledge and skills in some of the following topics: Business model, Leadership, Teambuilding, Product Conceptualization, Financials and Accounting, Funding, Law and Taxation, and Soft Skills.

Mentorship

To accompany the development of the startups from practical to functional skills, Startup Studio ensured that they were empowered through the mentorship program. The mentorship supported not only builds a foundation of support and inspiration but also provided opportunities for connecting and networking. The mentors’ union included successful startup founders, field experts, and investors who wanted to see share their valuable advice and expertise.

Co-working Space

FAST Startup Studio offered startups with access to a coworking space at FAST Creative Campus. An open space concept, designed by the latest urban interior standards, was an ideal place to work, meet, network, and stay productive.
