Vardan Gevorgyan has a Ph.D. in Physics. In 2007 he started to master modern methods of commercialization of scientific innovations and ways to manage the process of technology transfer. During past years, he visited various US universities, high-tech companies, and Silicone Valley and learned the ways they organize and manage high-tech companies and deal with innovations. He also had a chance to take an internship in the federal executive departments of the US in Washington D.C. He spent one month in the US Department of Commerce and US Department of Agriculture to learn their experience in the organization of commercialization of Government-sponsored innovations and the ways their Technology Transfer Offices work. He also visited many EU countries and participated in many workshops on entrepreneurship and innovations.
