Sergey Yengoyan has been a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix since 2019, focusing on payments. Prior to that, Sergey worked at a Silicon Valley startup called Aarki, which exited successfully in 2021. At Aarki, Sergey was the first hire in Yerevan and helped build an engineering team there prior to moving to United States, where he worked on ramping up the ad studio, as well as the real time bidding infrastructure and the machine learning engine for online ad auctions. Sergey is passionate about investing in Armenia, especially in the tech sector, and his most recent angel investment is in the wearable startup Embry Tech. Sergey grew up in Armenia and moved to the US in 2013. He obtained his master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Yerevan State University summa cum laude.
