Hrayr Harutyunyan got his PhD Computer Science at the University of Southern California. He received his Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Yerevan State University (2012-2018). During 2016-2018 he worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at YerevaNN Lab. Hrayr does both applied and theoretical research at the intersection of Deep Learning and Information Theory. His main research direction is studying information stored in neural network weights or activations and understanding its connections to generalization, memorization, stability and learning dynamics.
