Vagan is Partner and Head of Investment at Baring Vostok Capital Partners Ltd. (Private Equity Fund) since 2009. Prior to that in 2008-2009 he headed investment department at X5 Retail Group. From 1993 – 1995 Vagan worked at the Audit Department at Ernst & Young CIS Limited Moscow office; from 1995 to 2007 he served as Head of Asset Management Department, Senior Vice-President at Alfa-Bank, in Moscow. Vagan is a graduate of State Academy of Management in Moscow and holds a degree in International Economic Relations.
