Dr. Roksana Zakharyan is a senior researcher at the Institute of Molecular Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. She received her PhD degree in molecular and cellular biology in 2016. During the PhD study, in the framework of the International Visegrad Scholarship, Roksana spent 5 months at Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic, at the Department of Immunogenetics and Immunoproteomics. Also, since 2018, Roksana has been the head of the Department of Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, and Molecular Biology at Russian-Armenian University (RAU) and is an Adjunct Lecturer at the American University of Armenia (AUA). She has research interests in molecular biology, genetic engineering, genomics, autoimmunity, autoinflammation, and psychiatry. Roksana is a PI of different research projects.
