Sevak Avakians has spearheaded groundbreaking advancements in information processing, AI/ML, and reasoning software since 2008. With expertise spanning physics, telecommunications, information theory, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, Sevak possesses a nuanced understanding of cognitive computing challenges and opportunities. He is dedicated to crafting AI solutions that dynamically respond to evolving information and goals while ensuring transparency and accountability in decision-making.

In 2010, Sevak founded Intelligent Artifacts, initially as an R&D and consulting service for cognitive computing. Under his guidance, the GAIuS Cognitive Computing Platform emerged as a commercial product in 2016. GAIuS revolutionized the landscape, enabling developers to swiftly integrate machine intelligence, learning, classification, and analytics into their products. With its modular, deterministic and fully explainable design, GAIuS found applications in mission-critical domains like defense, aerospace, healthcare, and law enforcement. Notably, GAIuS simplified complexity with just four API calls, allowing for rapid deployment and evolution of intelligent agents within minutes. In 2020, Sevak's team integrated a reasoning engine into GAIuS, pioneering the world's first modular, repeatable AI/ML/R platform. Sevak exited the company in early 2024.

Sevak is currently dedicated to creating cutting-edge AI-driven solutions aimed at improving real-time decision-making processes in complex systems, with a strong emphasis on responsible AI practices.
